Garden Hyacinth Bulbs

Garden Hyacinth - Hyacinthus orientalis

A thick spike packed with waxy flowers, and one of the strongest scents of any spring bulb. A single pot by a door or path is usually enough to carry the fragrance. Colours run through white, pink, blue and purple, and the flower heads are dense enough to look good on their own.

Three to five bulbs fill a 20–25cm pot, which puts the scent close to the house. In the ground, plant in groups of 5–10 at the front of a border.

Toxic to cats and dogs if eaten.
