Snake Plant in Self-watering Pot
If you've ever lost a houseplant and taken it personally, start here. The Snake Plant hails from West Africa, where it learned to survive on very little, and it brings that same attitude to your living room. Upright, patterned leaves hold their shape and their colour with almost no input from you.
It thrives in bright light and tolerates the gloomiest corner of the house. It also releases oxygen at night, which makes it a smart pick for the bedroom. One to note - it's toxic to cats and dogs if nibbled, so best kept out of reach of curious pets.
This one arrives planted into a self-watering insert, sitting inside the Elho Vibes pot. Made in Holland from recycled plastic, the pot does the remembering for you. Fill the reservoir and your plant drinks exactly what it needs, when it needs it. Snake Plants like to stay on the dry side, so a full reservoir lasts even longer.
One thing to know - your plant travels dry. When it arrives, fill the reservoir and give the soil a light water from the top. That's its first drink at home, and from then on you'll only need to top up the reservoir every few weeks.
Plant available in 3 sizes, in 3 pot colours.
