Rhipsalis paradoxa

Rhipsalis paradoxa, aka the chain link cactus, is an epiphytic cactus native to Brazil. The three-angled ridges alternate along the long, branching stems giving them a chain-like appearance. This unique cascading cactus makes a beautiful hanging basket, especially when the small white flowers appear along the pendulous branches. This jungle cactus grows on the branches of trees, where it receives light filtered by the canopy above.
