The slight iridescence of the leaves, coupled with the ruffled surface allows them to reflect light at different angles for a bewitching prismatic effect that is hard to capture on camera. Low light brings out the deep, almost black hue in the leaves, which become somewhat bronze when grown in bright light. Sprays of light pink flowers appear above the leaves throughout the spring.

Along with B. 'Steve's Leaves Green Knight' and B. 'Steve's Leaves Dorian Gray', this begonia is part of the trio of first releases by our in house hybridizer Kevin Morykwas. These sister hybrids all resulted from pollinating B.
