African Fig in Self-watering Pot

The African Fig is the fig family's easygoing cousin. Native to tropical Africa, it carries rounded, deep green leaves on upright stems and grows into a handsome indoor tree.

It copes with lower light better than most figs, though bright, indirect light will bring the best from it. The sap can upset cats and dogs, so best placed out of reach of curious pets.

This one arrives planted into a self-watering insert, sitting inside the Elho Vibes pot. Made in Holland from recycled plastic, the pot does the remembering for you. Fill the reservoir and your plant drinks exactly what it needs, when it needs it.

One thing to know - your plant travels dry. When it arrives, fill the reservoir and give the soil a light water from the top. That's its first drink at home, and from then on you'll only need to top up the reservoir every few weeks.

Plant available in 2 sizes, in 3 pot colours.
